This year, marking the centenary of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, numerous activities have been—and continue to be—held around the world to commemorate the significance of Fidel’s life, thought, work, and legacy.
Undoubtedly, the activities with the greatest importance and impact have been those held in Cuba, particularly the colloquium titled *Fidel: Legacy and Future*.
People from all over the world traveled to Cuba—including a significant Chilean delegation—to stand in solidarity with the Cuban people during one of the most complex and perilous moments of their revolutionary process, a situation resulting from the intensified blockade imposed by the current imperial administration led by Donald Trump.
The José Martí Association of Concepción announces that on November 18, 19, and 20, it will host the Third International Seminar “Thinking About Our America from the South,” which this year is titled *Fidel’s Century*.
We will be joined by comrades from various countries in the region to discuss Fidel’s revolutionary thought and action within the popular movements of Our America and across the globe—wherever the example and solidarity of Socialist Cuba have reached and made their presence felt.
